HydraFacial in Vehari
A 45-minute treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates in one pass. Visible glow the same day, and safe to have close to an event.
What it is
A HydraFacial uses a handpiece that does three things at once: it exfoliates the surface, applies gentle suction to lift debris out of pores, and infuses serums into the skin as it passes. That combination is why it feels like very little is happening and yet the difference is visible when you sit up.
It is the treatment we recommend most often as a starting point, for a simple reason: it carries almost no risk. There is no thermal injury, no controlled wound, no downtime, and nothing that can trigger pigmentation in brown skin. For a patient who has never had a clinical treatment and is nervous, it is a sensible first step.
What it is not is a fix for a medical problem. It will not clear active inflammatory acne, will not lift melasma, and will not remodel scarring. If that is what you need, we will tell you at consultation and point you at the right treatment instead.
Benefits
- Immediate visible improvement in brightness and smoothness
- Clears congestion and blackheads without manual squeezing
- Hydrates dry, tight or dull skin in a single session
- No downtime — makeup can go on the same evening
- Safe close to a wedding or event, unlike peels and microneedling
- Serums can be adjusted for oily, dry or sensitive skin
- Suitable for all skin tones with no pigmentation risk
- Comfortable — most patients find it relaxing
Who it suits — and who it doesn't
A good candidate if…
- You want a visible improvement without downtime
- You have an event in the next one to two weeks
- Your skin is dull, congested or dehydrated
- You are new to clinical treatments and want somewhere safe to start
- You want a monthly maintenance treatment alongside a longer-term plan
Not suitable, or postponed, if…
- You have active inflammatory or cystic acne — this needs medical treatment first
- You have an active cold sore, open wound or skin infection on the face
- You have severe rosacea in a flare
- You have had sunburn in the last few days
- You expect it to treat melasma, deep scarring or wrinkles — it will not
This list is not exhaustive. Your medical history, medications and previous treatments are reviewed at consultation, and that review sometimes changes the plan.
The procedure, step by step
- Assessment. A short skin check to choose the serum protocol and suction strength for your skin.
- Cleanse and exfoliate. The first tip lifts dead surface cells and loosens debris. This feels like a light scratchy massage.
- Acid loosening. A mild glycolic and salicylic blend is passed over the skin to soften blackheads. Sensitive skin gets a reduced strength or this step is skipped.
- Extraction. Vortex suction draws out debris from the pores. You can usually see the contents collected in the canister afterwards, which most patients find oddly satisfying.
- Serum infusion. Hydrating and antioxidant serums are pushed into the skin as the handpiece passes — hyaluronic acid, peptides, and antioxidants depending on your skin.
- Finish. Sunscreen applied. You leave with slightly pink, plump-looking skin that settles within an hour.
Recovery and aftercare
There is genuinely no downtime. Some patients are slightly pink for thirty to sixty minutes, particularly if extraction was thorough. Makeup can be applied the same day, though skin usually looks better without it.
For 48 hours: pause retinoids, glycolic or salicylic acids and physical scrubs. Your skin has just been exfoliated; adding more is how irritation happens.
Ongoing: daily broad-spectrum SPF 30+. Freshly exfoliated skin is more vulnerable to sun-induced pigmentation, and in Vehari's climate that matters year round.
Results you can expect
Results are visible the same day — brighter, smoother, more hydrated skin, with clearer pores. The glow typically peaks at around day two and holds for three to four weeks.
A single session is genuinely worthwhile, which is unusual among clinical treatments. But it is a maintenance treatment, not a corrective one. Patients who come monthly see cumulative improvement in congestion and texture; patients who come once before a wedding get exactly what they came for and nothing more.
It will not change pigmentation patterns, will not soften established wrinkles, and will not treat scarring. Anyone telling you otherwise is overselling it.
Pricing. Priced per session, with a lower per-session rate for a course of three. Add-on serum boosters are quoted separately. Message us on WhatsApp for current pricing.
Frequently asked questions
How soon before a wedding should I have it?
Two to five days before is ideal. That gives any pinkness time to settle and catches the peak of the glow. It is one of very few treatments safe to have this close to an event.
Does it hurt?
No. Most patients describe it as a cool, slightly scratchy massage with a tugging sensation during extraction. It is one of the more pleasant treatments we offer.
How often should I have one?
Monthly suits most patients for maintenance. There is no benefit in going more often than every three weeks.
Will it clear my acne?
Not active inflammatory acne — that needs medical management. It does help mild congestion, blackheads and oiliness. If you have real acne, we will treat that first and use HydraFacial later as support.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Usually yes, with reduced acid strength and gentler suction. We will not treat skin in an active rosacea flare or with a compromised barrier.
Can I have it with makeup on?
Come with a clean face if possible, but it is not essential — cleansing is the first step anyway.
Will I see anything come out of my pores?
Yes, the extracted debris is collected in a canister and most patients ask to see it. It is a useful indication of how congested the skin was.
